PLUGGED TO POWER
A kettle is only good for decoration, if it is not plugged to power.
When something is plugged to power, it demonstrates an energy that commands respect.
So, the reason why the enemy does not give you honor and respect is because there is no power.
Illustration story:
There is a story of some rich Arabs. They have been living in a remote place, and then they traveled to a civilized place. They were so marveled when they got there because they saw innovations like bulb and water tap.
Thinking wisely, they went to the market to buy bulbs and water taps.
Without informing people, they went home and fixed the tap and the bulb, but to their surprise, the bulb did not bring light and the tap brought no water.
Why was this? They were not plugged to power!!!
People without power are like elephant in zoo or circus that are just used for
Any Christian without the power of the Holy Ghost will remain in the status of slave.
The church needs to teach Christians, on how to demonstrate power and not to be a slave.
Illustration story:
There was a man we saw one day. A full abled body well dressed; He came out of his car and he approached a woman prophetess in a church.
The next thing we saw was that the man was at the backyard of the church. He has taken off his cloth and the woman prophetess started to bath this man, full abled body man.
What is the reason for this?
Powerlessness
We as believers should not be at the mercy of any pastor, we should be able to communicate to God directly and showcase the power of God.
Jesus said; you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you (Act 1:8)
I prophesy into your life;
Power to rewrite your family history; receive it now, in the name of Jesus.
After Jesus died, the disciples were in confusion, they scattered all around. They were so afraid.
But when they received the real power;
People look at them and were marveled. They said to themselves, were this not the illiterate nonentities.
They were confused.
I prophesy into your life;
Your life shall confuse the enemies, in the name of Jesus.
They said these men who are turning the world upside down for God.
They used to be afraid and running before, but now their enemies are running from them.
A Believer is vain, spineless, a decoration, lifeless monument when they lack the power
Power has nothing to do with your good spoken English, degree, your range rover, your political status and so on.
Power is not about being a great businessman, expert or a professor.
With all this without the power of God, the person can be wasted anytime
You can only call yourself a professor when there is not Goliath
Saul was a king, powerful in his kingdom, as he raised his shoulder high; BUT when the Goliath appeared, all that title disappeared.
Without Power,
The Enemy will cheat you.
The Enemy will hinder you from moving forward
I decree into your life;
Powers to embarrass and terrify your enemies, receive it in the name of Jesus.
Act 13:6-12 King James Version (KJV)

6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus:
7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.
8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,
10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
The scripture above says; Paul filled with the Holy Ghost (POWER)
He quickly identified him through the power of Holy Ghost
The judgment, he gave to bar-Jesus stood.
Thank God, he said, he will be blind for a season, if he had said forever, so will it be; just like prophet Elisha.
With this no-nonsense display of power from Paul, The deputy governor got born again immediately
Paul demonstrated power of God
Paul did not persuade him,
He didn't pat him on the back.
Paul did not beg him; He demonstrated his authority, by the power of God.
OUR GOD IS AN ALL POWERFUL GOD

The time have come when, we must all showcase the power of God
Our life must show what the power of God can do
Without this happening in our live, then
Many will be wasted by the power, that they are supposed to waste

Illustration story:
Some years ago, the pastor was going to Ikorodu, He boarded a bus from Ido.
As the bus was moving the conductor got into argument with a man and insulted the man. This man was angry, he told the conductor that he was going to show him, when they reach their destination.
Truly, when they got to their destination, this man has not forgotten at all, He was wearing agbada attire. He dips his hand in to his agbada and brought out a horn with viper tooth in it. He spoke to it with some incantation and commanded the bus conductor;
Remove your shirt, he removed it immediately.
Remove your singlet, he removed it immediately.
Then, the Lagos crowd started gathering as usual.
This man didn't stop there, He said;
Remove your trousers, he removed it.
At that point, the pastor interfered and begged this man; He said at least we sin against God, we beg him and He forgive us; please forgive this small boy.
This man grew move angry and told the pastor; who asked you to interfere, for that I will deal with you too.
He dipped his hand into his agbada, once more, brought out the horn, made some incantations and said,
Remove you coat. (As the pastor was wearing a suit then)
The past laughed; then he said; In the name of Jesus, I will not remove it.
By this time crowd that gathered were so much and they were eager to see the end of the power tussle.
The pastor then turned to the conductor, He said;
Put on your shirt, in the name of Jesus, he put it on.
Put on your singlet, in the name of Jesus, he put it on.
Put on your trouser, in the name of Jesus, he put it on.
Here the crowd were amazed and every the man with the horn was surprised and shocked.
They saw one power making some one mad and the other reversing it.
The display of power that day made the entire crowd that gathered that day to give their life to Christ, including the man with the horn.
Today, that man with the horn has now become a pastor and God has been using him. He may even be present in this ministration service.
This is the result of a non-coward child of God that displayed the power of God.
You as a Christian are you demonstrating the power of God.
Are you not a “Secret Service” Christian where you hide your identity and you don’t want to be called fanatics?
Pray this prayer with your entire heart;
Strangers, in my body, in the name of Jesus, Depart
There are two main key to fulfill destiny and enjoy life peacefully.
The keys are the key of Wisdom and Power.
Spiritual power is to have access to the secret of God.
It removes every obstacle that comes your way
Without this key, you remain a trunks elephant
Words of Power
We will look are some basic rule of power
1. The only language the enemy understands its violence.
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. {Mat 11:12}
2. The only thing thee enemy respects its power
3. When a lesser power comes against a higher power, as a matter of necessity, the lesser power will bow.
Illustration story:
In the year 1995, a man came to me to share a story of woe.
The man lost his wife and five children in one single night.
They all cried from their sleep. It was the wife first and why he was running to see what happen, he heard cries one another room to another until all of them were dead.
After this he was seeking for solution, cause and revenge. He went to see a native doctor; the native doctor diagnosed its issue and said;
We cannot help you here, the only place you can get help is to go to mfm church, the powers that are behind your case are beyond us here. The man was surprised at what he said, how can you refer me to church; the church is more powerful why are you not there. The native doctor laughed and said “Omode n se o” meaning you are naive as a child and you can’t understand.
When there is power, even the enemy will acknowledge your supremacy and give you respect.
4. Powerlessness leads to bondage and slavery
5. When your enemy its stronger than you, it will waste you
6. Spiritual power had no respect for age.
7. Power with men proceeds from power with God.
