War against Marriage Killers_{{Part 4}}

 “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD” {Prov 18:22}

The scriptures says who finds a wife not who find a women.

There are many women today that are not wives.

Godly wives/Husbands are blessings from the lord

Marriage is the first institution on earth

Marriage is God own idea and not man

Two are better than one

There is always one that lift up when the other one is down.

Due to the fact that it's God's his idea, it is a disaster to take God out of the matter.

The instruction to keep and run the marriage must come from God.

Facts about Marriage

v There is need for consistent consultation from God about your marriage

v Godly Marriage and Godly home does happen by chance, it is by choice.

v You need to work hard for your Marriage to work.

v After salvation, marriage it's another great thing that happened to man.

v Marriage completes you

v Marriage complements you

v Marriage is not competition, but for complementing.

v Marriage not a necessary evil.

v Marriage is not a padlock but wedlock.

v Marriage Adds to you.

v Marriage is Ordained for peace joy and progress.

v Marriage is to help and assist each other.

God usually give one opposite of yourself, so as to complement each other.

ROLES OF THE HUSBAND AND THE WIFE IN MARRIAGE

There is a role for every man and woman in marriage to keep it healthy.

Men Responsibility

1.   Man is a prophet

 Man are supposed to be a prophet of the home.

Abraham had the responsibility to coordinate his family to God. He was in charge.

The man should not leave his responsibilities in the hands of his wife.

The wife should not be the spiritual head.

She should not be the one praying or teaching man the Bible.

    Declare this Prayer:  I shall be a prophet of my family in Jesus name

2.    Man is a Provider

“But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel” {1 Tim 5:8}

v Man should not convert the wife to the provider. This is not biblical.

v Man should provide shelter, cloth, food and so on.

This is the reason man must not be comfortable with any low status; they need to Pray themselves out of poverty to fulfill the outpost of God in your life.

3.   Man is a Protector.

Don't allow any member of your family to rubbish your wife.

No man should disrespect your wife.

Woman Responsibility.

1.   Honor and Respect

The honor you don’t give to your husband ever give to any other man.

Some sisters are very gentle outside, when at work, to visitor but at home, they are violent and dangerous.

Many ladies can kneel to others, their neighbors, and boss but not to their husband.

“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord” {Eph 5:22}

Submission is not humiliation

In the eyes of God, weakness is strength

Commandments to Man and Woman in Marriage

1.   Thou shall forgive thy spouse 70 * 7 and more, every day.

2.   Thou shall honor thy father and mother, In-laws but cut off from every strings of their control.

3.   Thou shall have no other person than your spouse

Some even have their Next of kin as their mother, family members instead of their spouse.it is wrong.

4.   Thou shall not speak evil of thy spouse but shall honor love and respect your spouse all the time.

5.   Thou shall not carry the trouble of yesterday to today and not carry the problems of Today to Tomorrow.

6.   Thou shall discuss and not argue.

7.   Thou shall live within thy financial means

8.   Thou shall keep your marriage as romantic as possible

9.   Thou shall not use sex as a weapon of punishment.

10.                   Thou shall keep your family altar on fire always
