Jesus Asked Who Men say that I am? {QUESTION OF IDENTITY OF JESUS}

Peter answered: “Thou Are Christ “The revelation of the Identity of Christ.

What does the Identity of Christ symbolize?

ü Lord: can be seen as the master that rules over all.

ü Emmanuel :which also means "God with us” ; symbolizes the presence of God the Father

ü Messiah: one that delivers and liberates.

ü Saviour: To save from trouble and harm.

ü The Son of God: The Second in the Trinity

ü The Lamb of God: The sacrifice of God for Us.

ü The Good Shepherd: The Guardian that guide & protect.

ü the Redeemer: The one that Buys Us Back from Bondage

ü the Prince of Peace: Brings peace and Calm to all trouble

ü Wonderful: Great, Magnificent & Superb.

ü Counselor: Teaches and show the way

ü The Mighty God: Manifestation of the Power of God the Father.                                                                                    {Isa9:6-7}

The CHURCH INSIDE OF YOU

The church In You; can be described as the development of your spirit man.

v This comprised of those who belong to Christ and who have trusted Him for salvation.

v These set of people seeks fellowship and edification in a local church.

v Many believers have lost the true meaning of the Church of God.

Some of the Wrong Notions of the Church are:

·      As a Religious practice.

·      As a Social gathering.

·      As their Pastor’s domain.

·      As the place to flaunt their clothes and body.

God did not establish the church as these.

“ . . . and upon this rock I will build my church; . . . “ {Mat 16:18}

Take Note of this verse; Jesus Said: “My Church” And :

ü Not Your Church

ü Not the Pastor or Reverend or Bishop’s Church

ü Not the Witches’ Church

ü Not the Business men’s Church

ü Not the Politician’s Church

ü Not the Devil’s Church.

ü Not Any Man’s Church.

It is Jesus Church; it is a Church that must have its foundation on the Identity of Christ.

"Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."{Luke 17:21}

o  The Church of God is not the Building and the structures.

o  The Church of God is not the Congregation.

The Church Of God Is In You

ü How are you allowing Jesus to build His Church In You?

ü Are You hindering Jesus in any way?

ü Is it that you have even banned Jesus from the premises of your life? Then How will Jesus build ?

ü Have you converted Your Pastor To Jesus; Build In You.

The Pastor Cannot Build a Church by himself ; except by Jesus.

Don’t Be A Prey, Victim or Slave to any Pastor.

The Kingdom is in you;  Let Christ Build his Church In You,

Why You Still Need The Physical Church?

Ø To sharpen your spiritual blade. Iron Sharpeneth  Iron.

Ø Jesus was also frequent in the church.

"Jesus went back to Nazareth, where he'd been brought up and as usual he went to the meeting place on the Sabbath"{Luke 14:6}

Ø The bible says we should not forsake the Church.

"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." {Heb 10:25}

Ø It serves as a positive example to also bring in unbelievers.

Ø It is a medium to give Joy and encouragement; especially when you are down.

Ø It is a source of protection from the demonic forces of evil and sin in this world.

Ø It Promotes Spiritual Growth.

How to Build His Church in You.

1.   Don’t Be Too Lazy to Study you Bible.

2.   Beware of Satanic ministers.

3.   Beware of Satanic Churches.

4.   Don’t be too lazy to do some spiritual assignments like fasting, spiritual retreat, Night vigils and so on.

5.   Watch and Pray.

6.   Let Jesus build His Identity inside of You.

Prayer Points

1.   Father Lord, keep me and protect me from every devises of the enemy in the name of Jesus.

2.   I subdue every power contending with my spiritual growth in Jesus Christ Name.

3.   I receive the unsearchable wisdom in  the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus

4.   I bind every spirit of Spiritual laziness in the name of Jesus.

5.   Holy Ghost, Fill me with fresh hunger and thirst for the righteousness of God in the name of Jesus.

6.   I take the shield to quench every fiery dart of the enemy, in the name of Jesus

7.   I run into the name of the Lord which is a strong tower and I am safe, in the name of Jesus.

8.   I overcome every spiritual dryness and emptiness in the name of Jesus.

9.   Jesus Christ Cover my spiritual nakedness in the name of Jesus.

10.                   I receive the grace to serve God in spirit and truth in the name of Jesus.

11.                   Father Lord, always make me drink from your everlasting well of Joy, in the name of Jesus.

12.                   Holy Ghost, destroy every spiritual stagnation in my life in the name of Jesus.

13.                   Lord Jesus, heal my backsliding and put me back to the right path in Jesus Christ.
