DANGERS OF EVIL DREAMS

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Matthew 2:13-16

13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”

14 When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt, 

15 and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”

16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men.

THE MESSAGE:

Dreams are one of the ways through which God talks to us. God warned Joseph in the dream to flee to Egypt to escape the enemies who were planning to kill the infant Jesus.

A dream is an event that takes place in the subconscious during sleep. It could be a vision, a revelation or a prophecy to warn you or to bless you. An evil dream is a nightmare or a dream that shows that evil will befall a person.

The devil is the mastermind behind evil dreams. He attacks people's blessings and progress and plants evil into their lives in the dream. However, a bad dream could also come from God in the form of warning about sin or to reveal the wicked plans of the devil. The devil is wicked and cunning. He will never show you his evil plan to harm you but God can reveal it to you in a dream.

An evil dream portends danger, tragedy or disaster, which is about to happen or has happened. Constant evil dreams is an indication that you are living a sinful and polluted life and that you need to break some covenants and seek deliverance.

The Bible says that by knowledge shall the just be delivered. The ignorance that many believers demonstrate in the area of dreams has enabled the devil to afflict them and rob them of their divine blessings. You need to know how to keep evil dreams at bay and how to deal with them if you have them. You also need to know how to interpret dreams as well as the correct prayers to pray to nullify negative dreams as well as the ones for praying good ones to fulfilment.

Unless you deal with an evil dream, it would bring sorrow, misfortune, failure, untold hardship, etc. You need to pray, fast, dedicate your life to God and live a holy life to overcome evil dreams.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Any evil power manipulating my dream life, die, in the name of Jesus.
2. Holy Ghost, take over my dream life, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every demonic attack in my dream, die, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Every evil plantation and programming in my life in the dream, die, in the name of Jesus.
5. Demonic initiation in my dream, I reject you; die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every evil covenant enacted in my dream, break, in the name of Jesus.
7. Lord Jesus, show me Your glory in my dream tonight, in the name of Jesus.
