8 I will keep Your statutes; Oh, do not forsake me utterly!

9 How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.

10 With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.

12 Blessed are You, O Lord! Teach me Your statutes.
13 With my lips I have declared All the judgments of Your mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate on Your precepts, And contemplate Your ways.
16 I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.

THE MESSAGE:

It is a great privilege to trust in the Lord and depend on His strength that is embedded in His word. To hide the word of God in your heart is a life giving, and life-saving experience, for it will allow you to fulfill your highest purposes in life and will keep you from life’s constant failure, stagnation, dryness and spiritual emptiness. To those who are hurting, the word is a soothing balm. To those who have been weeping, their joy is coming in the morning.

The word is a complete medicine for all manner of situations you may be in. When you accept the word, relax, for it will do what it is meant for in your life. In Jeremiah 15:16, the Bible says, “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me, the joy and rejoicing of my heart.” Jeremiah found the word and ate it and it became unto him joy and rejoicing of heart. Beloved, in whatever situation you are the word of God is a sure cure-all anytime any day.

It is ever potent and efficacious! Whatever it is you have heard that is not established by the word of God, throw it away. Grab the word of God with your two hands. Eat it; chew it; swallow it and you will see that your life that needs a change will receive divine touch of God and become better for it. The word is sweeter than honey; O taste and see that the word of God is good.

The word of God is quick and powerful. It is a life-giving force. It can bring what is dead back to life and restore strength and vigour where it is lacking and needed. When God sends His word, it can heal, repair, restore and replace impaired or damaged human organs. It is creative and transformational. That is why the Bible says that God exalts His word above His name. God’s word is absolutely indispensable and immeasurably rewarding!

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Thou healing power in the word of God, possess my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. Birds of darkness assigned against the word of God in my heart, die, in the name of Jesus.
3. My Father, My Father, My Father, let Your word be a pillar that holds my life, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Thou word that faileth not, destroy the failure of my life, in the name of Jesus.
5. Omnipotent God, destroy every dark power shielding your light from my heart, in the name of Jesus.
6. My Father, enlighten my darkness, in the name of Jesus.
7. Word of God, continue to be my pathfinder, in the name of Jesus.
