PRAYERS TO PROVOKE DIVINE INTERVENTION

Textual Source:: Malachi 3:1

Minister: Dr. DANIEL OLUKOYA (G.O MFM Worldwide)

Let me say that there are some prayers I want you to pray here today. They are not gentlemen's prayers. They are prayers to contest with every enemy of your destiny, prayers to command the milk and honey of this land to come to your lap, prayers to reverse everything the enemy has done wrong. So if you are here, you are not here by chance. There is a miracle that has to happen here in your life.

So get ready to pray those prayers, when the time comes. If you pray those prayers and you lose your voice, but you obtain your miracle, you have made a good bargain. So listen to me for a few minutes.

That passage in Malachi tells us that God is a God of the suddenly. The God of divine intervention.

I see somebody listening to me now, the issue of your child has been bothering you, but by the time you pray for divine intervention, you shall have testimonies!

WHAT IS PRAYER?

Prayer

- is the staff to walk with God and fight the devil;

- is the only thing the devil cannot do.

Everything we do in the house of God, the devil can do better. The devil can preach, he can read the Bible. In fact, somebody said the devil is the best pastor because he is the only pastor who knows the address of every member. He can sing; he was in fact the first choirmaster in heaven. But one thing he cannot do is pray: there is nobody to pray to. That is why everything you do in the house of God has a substitute, except prayer.

- is telling God "I am helpless, help me!" That is why the devil is always afraid when the weakest Christian kneels down and begins to pray. That is why if the devil wants to finish a person, the first thing he takes away is the prayer life. Once the prayer life is taken away, other things collapse. The family that prays together, stays together. Once prayer jumps out of the family, it will collapse.

Every time God moves in great power, it can be traced to somebody praying. So where there is no prayer, there is no power;

- opened the Red Sea;

- made the sun to stand still. Elijah prayed and brought down fire. A few minutes later, he brought down water from the same heaven;

- however, is hard work; &

- is not preparation for battle, it is the battle.

So, any man or woman who can really pray has no problem. That is why prayer is the greatest power God has given to man on earth. Whether you like it or not, a time will come when your greatest need is for God to answer your prayers; if that time has not already come yet. Because there are certain situations you find yourself in, and it is only God who can help you.

Israel was in bondage in Egypt, only God helped them. David found himself pursued by Saul, only God helped him. Lazarus was sick unto death, only God helped him.

I am praying for somebody here today: you shall have a divine intervention, in the name of Jesus! (A seven-fold amen)

Simon Peter was locked up in prison and was to be beheaded the next day. But there was divine intervention and Peter was set free. A situation could come where things face you and it is urgent.

There are 10 unchanging facts.

All ministers who are interested in deliverance and solution evangelism know this. All prophets of God who are interested in solving people's problems know these ten things:

1. God never fails;

2. God is a Man of War;

3. God never lies. A man may tell you lies but God will not lie;

4. God never loses battles;

5. God is a God of the suddenly;

6. In the dictionary of the Almighty God, the word 'impossibility' does not exist. The Bible says "with man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible";

7. God never comes late. He may not come when you want Him, but He will not come late;

8. God can bring something out of nothing;

9. God can suspend any law in order to favour His children.

I see somebody here today, every law that needs to be suspended for you to obtain your uncommon breakthroughs shall be suspended in the name of Jesus.

10. God can be provoked into action. That is, the Almighty may not have wanted to do anything before, but there are things you can do that may provoke Him to action.

When Jesus was on His way to die, it was not on His program that He wanted to heal anybody. He was just on His way to die. All of a sudden there was blind Bartimaeus who started shouting. His shouting provoked Jesus into action. To provoke is to stimulate, to incite.

I am praying for somebody here, you shall have a divine intervention, in the name of Jesus!

I am praying for somebody here, every power saying NO to your breakthroughs shall be disgraced in the name of Jesus!

SO WHAT IS DIVINE INTERVENTION? It

- is the sudden move of God into your situation;

- is the unexpected visitation of messengers of heaven to your life;

- is signs and wonders you do not expect;

- those miracles that come when you have given up;

- is a miraculous experience that brings tears to your eyes;

- is God coming at unexpected quarters at an unexpected time to help you; &

- is God coming through the back door when you were expecting Him to come in through the window or the door.

You shall have divine intervention in the name of Jesus!

Divine intervention is coming your way today in the name of Jesus!

The Lord will address every source of your tears in the name of Jesus!

The hand of God will arise and fight for you in the name of Jesus!

God will not come late to your situation!

By the power of the God of Elijah, divine intervention is coming your way in the name of Jesus!

WHAT TO DO TO PROVOKE DIVINE INTERVENTION

1. Become a friend of God: Surrender your life to Jesus;

2. Repent from every known sin;

3. Stop anxiety and worry. Your anxiety, worry, or crying will not bring any solution;

4. Engage in violent prayers;

5. Make sure you go out of your way to be a blessing to others. Those who were blessed in the Bible were those who went out of their way to bless others;

6. Engage in violent praises; &

7. Pray the prayers that provoke divine intervention, which we will start now.
