28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 

29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 

30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

THE MESSAGE:

Yesterday, we affirmed that a yoke is an instrument of shared bondage. Our Fire Scripture today makes us to understand that there are two types of yokes -- the good yoke and the evil yoke. The good yoke is that of Jesus Christ: "Take my yoke upon you and learn of me" (Matthew 11:29a). We are dealing with the satanic one in this discourse and I pray that if you are labouring under any satanic yoke, it shall break by fire, in the name of Jesus. Satanic yoke has different categories. Let us look at a few of them:

There is the yoke of lack of favour. Anyone suffering under this kind of yoke, no matter how good he or she is to others, nobody will remember him or her for any good thing. He or she can even be the best and hardest worker in the organisation, but when good posting or promotion comes, the person will be forgotten.

Dear reader, Esau suffered from this type of yoke. He was hard working and enterprising to the extent that he knew how to prepare very good pepper soup (venison) with bush meat. His father said he did not know the day of his death because he was old and his eyes were dim, so he was ready to bless him. He wanted to bless his firstborn and asked him to prepare his favourite soup for him. Alas his mother heard and told Jacob, his younger brother, and both of them plotted a coup and succeeded in robbing Esau of his blessings (Genesis 27:1-46).

Dearly beloved, Esau eventually lost out because Jacob, who was an indoor and domesticated person, obtained his brother's blessings with the assistance of their mother. Rebecca, their mother, helped Jacob to Esau's disadvantage. Are you in a situation like this? Have you served and when it was time to reward you you were pushed away or you were never remembered? You need to understand that there is a yoke of disfavour in place and it must go by fire.











PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Foundational yoke of disfavour, my life is not your candidate, die, in the name of Jesus.
2. Any anchor of darkness in my life, you are a liar, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
3. Yokes, hear me and hear me well, leave my life alone and die, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. As I shake my body now, any yoke that is killing me gradually, be shifted away and die, in the name of Jesus.
5. Yoke of "thou shall not make it", die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Satanic yoke of "it shall not be well with you", die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
7. My life, receive rest from evil yokes, in the name of Jesus.
