1:15-23
15 John bore
witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who
comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ”
16 And of
His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.
17 For the
law was given through Moses, but grace
and truth came through Jesus Christ.
18 No one has
seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of
the Father, He has declared Him.
19 Now this
is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from
Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”
20 He confessed,
and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.”
21 And they asked
him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?”
And he answered, “No.”
22 Then they said
to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do
you say about yourself?”
23 He
said: “I am ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight
the way of the Lord,” ’

THE MESSAGE:
There is a product from heaven which money and effort cannot buy
unless you are given by God. In fact, it is one of God's most expensive
products a mortal can possess. It is given freely even when you do not deserve
it. It is not what you boast of as a man, but God gives it freely, even when
you do not work for it or deserve it.

This product is called GRACE. May you receive the grace of God
by fire, in the name of Jesus. Grace is described as the unmerited favour of
God. So, when you enjoy the grace of God in certain areas of life, you need to
be careful because you did not get it by power, might or effort. Therefore,
never use what you got by grace to disgrace anyone because the ball is still
rolling.

Grace and mercy are twin brothers, but obviously different in
actual sense. Grace is the opposite side of mercy in a coin called LOVE. All your
achievements are just by the grace of God. Remove grace from man, what you have
left is effort, which can profit nothing.

When grace is at work, it will look as if you are the only one who can do it better. God's grace will give you children, houses, cars, possession, even position either in the house of God or in the secular society. You must see yourself as a product of grace because there are lots of people who can pray more than you do and work harder than you. There are also people who are more intelligent than you, yet they are still struggling to get to where you are. Therefore, do not be too careless with the giver of grace, the Almighty God. He is the One that can raise the poor from the dunghill and place him or her on the seat of honour. He has the power to demote from royal throne to the grass. Nebuchadnezzar thought he had arrived by his efforts, he never realised that it was just by the grace of God. He was reduced to nothing. Thank God that he eventually acknowledged God and mercy spoke for him. Therefore, beloved, your lifting is by His grace, do not abuse it.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
1. Powers assigned to push me out of grace, die, in the name of
Jesus.
2. Spirit of disgrace, I am not your candidate, die by fire, in
the name of Jesus.
3.
Grace of God, make way for me, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. My Father, make me
a candidate of Your uncommon grace, in the name of Jesus.
5. I refuse to be
disgraced out of the seat of grace, in the name of Jesus.
6. Glory of God,
overshadow me now, in the name of Jesus.
7. Doors of greatness
that my fasting and prayers cannot open, grace of God, open it by fire, in the
name of Jesus.
