MENTAL RENOVATION

To  renovate means to repair, renew, etc.

Some renovate their bodies, diet, career, houses, cars but neglect the renovation of the mind.

When you renovate your mind, your habit changes thereby changing your whole world.

The mind is the seat of consciousness and your thought determines this.

When you win a man’s heart, you have him.

When you know a man’s thought, you control him.

The mentality of many people needs to be changed.

All defeat starts in the mind

"My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” { Prov 4:20-23}

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee." {Prov 23:7}

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” {Rom 12:1-2}

FACTS ABOUT THE MIND AND SATAN

Ø Satan has immediate and quick access to human mind.

Ø Satan has complete picture of your thoughts, imagination, motives and secret ambition.

Ø Satan is aware of our weakness.

Ø Satan can plant or remove ideas into and from our minds.

Ø Satan knows us better than we know ourselves.

TYPES OF MENTALITY

1.   Reprobate mentality   rom 8 vs 6,

2.   Dishonest mentality

3.   Carnal mentality

4.   Wicked mentality

5.   Foolish mentality

6.   Materialistic mentality

7.   Vain mentality

8.   Unproductive mentality

9.   Pessimistic mentality

10.                   Grasshopper mentality

11.                   Corrupted mentality

12.                   Decayed mentality

13.                   Immoral mentality

14.   Serpent mentality (anger); every moment of self cannibalism (anger), you loose a minute of happiness.

Medical Effects of anger

ü Respiration deepens

ü Heart beat becomes faster

ü Blood pressure rises

ü Sugar is freed from the reserve to the liver,

ü Blood moves from the stomach to the heart, muscles, central nervous system,

ü Digestive process seize,

ü Spleen contracts and releases toxin,

ü Adrenaline is secreted to the blood.

15.                   Parasite mentality

16.                   Acidic mentality; anyone with this kind of mind hates people. Hatred is murder. Once there is hatred in the heart, there can’t be intelligence.

17.                   Blind mentality; fails to see what God wants them to see.

18.                   Crab mentality; easily fearful.

19.                   Dog mentality; lustful heart.

20.                   Double-tongue heart; believer telling lies.

21.                   Evil advertisement heart; enemy uses one to advertise evil.

22.                   Fox heart; money conscious and focused.

23.                   Maggot heart; prefers sinners grout to believers.

24.                   Proud heart; peacock heart.

25.                   Pig heart; difficulty in fasting and waiting upon the Lord.

26.                   Poisoned heart; always abusing others.

27.                   Snail heart; sluggish.

28.                   Spiritually illiterate heart; don’t read the bible.

29.                   Tsetse fly heart; sleeps in the place of prayer.

30.                   Vagabond heart; hates messages about sin, rapture, consecration, righteousness, etc.

HOW TO OBTAIN MENTAL RENOVATION

1.   Complete repentance

2.   Be an addict of the word of God.

3.   Change your utterances.

4.   Banish fear

5.   Associate yourself with wise people.

6.   Change your attitude.

7.      Be a prayer warrior.
