PRAY FOR THE NATION _{{Day 7}}

Have thought of why the Christians of these days is not in charge of the nation like the days of hold?

Why we need to pray for our nation?

Ø God has committed this world into our hands as believers. The bible says wherever we set out foot upon belong to us; why will we allow our belongings to suffer.

Ø The good of the land will yield us good also; because when there is plenty in the land, we will also eat plenty; when there is crisis, then we won’t even to manage our so called “businesses”

Ø Having a mentality of “It doest Concern me” shows an attribute of selfishness which God hates. “Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ” {Gal 6:2}

Prayer is the most potent force known to humanity. Because we have been made partakers in Jesus’ victory over sin and death (1 John 4:4), we have the authority as sons and daughters of God to pray for others, pushing back the darkness of sin and oppression. In prayer, we have a weapon that has “divine power to destroy strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4).

“The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects” {James 5:16},

Why don’t you let Heaven record your name with the intercessors; there is a great reward.

What Do We Do?

v Consistently pray for this Nation every day in your Prayer time.

Day 7. Prayer Points

There are 14 days of prayer; each day consists of 14 prayer points and should be prayed for 14 days and night.

The prayers to be done between 12 and 12:30am for the night. The Bible confessions should be made every night before going into praises and then the prayers.

1.   Wicked and selfish ambitions die, in the name of Jesus.

2.   In this election, the ungodly shall fail woefully, in the name of Jesus.

3.   O God arise; manifest your awesome power in this country, in the name of Jesus.

4.   Father, prove yourself as the Almighty God in this country, in the name of Jesus.

5.   Every effort of darkness against Nigeria; receive woeful and permanent failure, in the name of Jesus.

6.   Let all forces of darkness hindering the will of God in this nation; be rendered impotent, in the name of Jesus.

7.   Let the spiritual strongman in charge of Nigeria, be bound and be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.

8.   Let all un-evangelized areas of this country be reached with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, in the name of Jesus.

9.   O Lord, send forth laborers into your vineyard to reach the unreached in this country.

10.                   We dismantle the stronghold of poverty in this nation, in the name of Jesus.

11.                   O Lord, install your agenda for this nation.

12.                   Let every power of darkness operating in our educational institutions be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.

13.                   Satanic captors, assigned to capture Nigeria, go into the captivity of no return, in the name of Jesus.

14.                   Carnivals, sacrifices, rituals, working against Nigeria, backfire, in the name of Jesus.
