Faith that killeth death _{{Part 2}}

Today, we conclude the message started yesterday where we were able to establish the weight faith has in the spiritual realm and the difficult but true facts about faith. {Read part1 here}. We established the awesomeness and how big the power of God is when we key in to faith. There are a lot of differences we can make by increasing our faith. Faith has levels; this is the reason Jesus spoke about Great Faith.

Levels of Faith

v No faith (faithless) - These people have no faith in the word and they do not believe in Jesus Christ but they have faith in other things which they believe in.

"And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: .." {Mat 17:20}

"He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me." {Mark 9:19}

v Little faith (weak faith): With weak faith you can neither experience the power of God nor have an intimacy with Him and you doubt what the spirit tells you.

". . .O man of little faith, why did you doubt?" {Mat14:31}

v Great faith (Faithful)

"When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." {Mat 8:10}

We need to move from the level of doubt and little faith to the level of Great Faith.

14.      Faith is Commitment to the God regardless of the outcome. You cannot put God in a Box; some will say; “God! If you don’t do this, I won’t serve you again . . .”

15.      Faith has a supernatural power that can change the physical.

16.      Faith is Complete Trust and Security in God.

17.      Faith is the nature of God put into action.

18.      Faith is knowing the magnitude of the power of God; to deliver to the uttermost; over all powers of the enemy.

19.      Faith can be increased by prayer.

20.      Faith has the power to destroy the works of the enemy.

21.      Faith is the power that can move the hand of God into action.

22.                Faith is facing the reality of life. Some people believe that nothing bad will ever happen to us, the enemy can’t touch us; everything we have is divinely protected. Many people walk around with their head in the sand believing nothing bad will ever come and when it does their faith isn’t strong enough to overcome it. God says; He will deliver us in affliction not from affliction. Satan was able to afflict Job. (Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the lord delivers him from them all). It takes a stronger faith to go through the fire and stand strong for God than it does to escape it altogether.

23.                Faith is not threatened or intimidated by the world; that does not give in to pressure. Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego did not panic when they were been threatened by the king because they had faith.

24.      Faith possesses the supernatural power to destroy any sickness or infirmity.

25.                Faith can be punched or killed.

The Faith Killers

1.   Worry & Anxiety: The most expensive weapon of the enemy.

2.   Meditating on the magnitude of the problem: The Bible says that we should walk by faith and not by sight. When you focus on the magnitude of your problem, it will overwhelm you and your faith will jump out of the window.

3.   Doubt & Unbelief: This was what happened to Sarah and Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist. This is the reason the angel made him deaf, so that he will not destroy his testimony all by himself.

4.   Shallow Faith: Faith that is not rooted in the understanding of God and the word of God might eventually die.

5.   Magnifying the problem: When you focus on difficulty instead of the solution puncture your faith.

6.   Laziness: Faith without works is dead. Don’t be lazy, add work to your faith and see how God will come out faithful.

7.   Thoughts of failure: Entertaining thoughts of failure is enough to deflate whatever faith you have, the Bible says that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

8.   Trust in Earthly Things: There are some faith killing heart issues that you may have to deal with in your life that have the potential to rob you of God’s best for your life. One of the most obvious stories in the Bible that go along with this point is the story of the Rich Young Ruler. Unlike Peter, who had personality issues that needed to be worked out, the Rich Young Ruler had some faith-killing heart issues that robbed him of his potential with God. It robbed him of a relationship with Jesus Christ. The first faith killing heart issue that he had was his security in earthly things.

9.   Ambition: Many have lost faith because of their strong ambition. Let God be the designer and implementer of you ambition in his own time.

10.     Discouragement: When you give in to discouragement, you puncture your faith. The enemy laughs at discouraged people. Discouraged people are very bad friends to have because their disease is highly contagious. Happy is the one who fights on, in the face of terrible discouragement, saying, “I refuse to be pulled down, I refuse to be discouraged. The fact available may not sound too good but I refuse to be discouraged; I believe the lord’s report.

I pray that, God will magnify himself in your life this morning in the name of Jesus.

Prayer Points

1.   I receive the faith that kills death, by the power in the blood of Jesus.

2.   I silence every faith killers assigned against my life in the name of Jesus.

3.    Every negative words working against my life, by the power in the blood of Jesus.

4.   Cage of negative confessions, break and release me in the name Jesus.

5.   I recovery back every blessings I have lost through negative confessions, in the name of Jesus.

6.   My lost opportunity! Manifest by the power in the blood of Jesus.

7.   O God arise! Intervene in my situation in the name of Jesus.

8.   My father! Use my life to show the world, what your power can do, in the name of Jesus.

Declare these Confessions to yourself:

9.   My problems hall not overcome me; I shall overcome my problems in the name of Jesus.

10.                   The enemy shall make the mistake that will promote my destiny in the name of Jesus.

11.                   Powers that stop my parents; you will not stop me by the power in the blood of Jesus.

12.                   This year! I shall experience turnaround breakthrough that I will never forget throughout the days of my life in the name of Jesus.
