Use Your Talent

To every person on the earth God has deposited into him unique, special and specific gifts. These gifts are specific to the person to fulfill his part and purpose in the world which God has created. Failure to identify this gift and fulfill the purpose of God is tantamount to deliberate disobedience to God and a failure in life and destiny.

"For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto him, well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. ” {Mat 25:14-28}

The scriptures above is by Jesus and it illustrates that all talent must be used.

Hard Facts About Talents:

1.   Talent is a gift from God‘s generosity of his grace.

2.   Talents are spiritual gift from God.

3.   Talents are given to people according to their measure and capacity. (Eph 4:7).

4.   Everybody on earth has at least one gift. (1 Pet 4:10)

5.   We will all be rewarded according to how we have used our talents; either good or bad.

6.   God knows everyone capacity, this is the reason People’s gift usually vary

We should always be grateful; not think God is partial and saying your own is small. There is a purpose why God has deposited the talent you have. Don't waste it

By using these talents; we are declaring the following:

ü God is good.

ü God is love and you are spreading the love to another.

ü We must not love the world.

ü Making people know Jesus is the only sacrifice.

ü Interceding for our brethren.

ü Preaching the gospel to others.

Consequence of not using your talents

1.   Receive God’s condemnation.

2.   Becoming unprofitable.

3.   Been cast away from the presence of God.

4.   Losing your justification as a child of the kingdom, Satan will now have the legal grounds to attack.

5.   Forfeiting your reward.

6.   Being thrown into hell fire.

7.   Demons which you had power to disgrace will now torture you.

Reward for Using Your Talents.

1.   Receive divine commendation.

2.   You will be exceedingly and greatly blessed.

3.   God will promote you.

4.   The spirit of multiplication will be yours.

5.   Heavens well open onto you satanic immigration officers and Satan will find it impossible to stop your blessings.

6.   Receive a stand ovation in heaven.

7.   Be in the company of the saint to worship God.

Let us all know we have talents; Talent are given for specific purposes in which we must use for the work of God. You are never too old or too young to serve God.

The rewards are Unquantifiable and eternal.

Prayer Points

1.   Father Lord, forgive me for not using my gifts effectively in the name of Jesus.

2.   Lord Jesus; Empower me to use my gift effectively in the name of Jesus.

3.   I claim back every blessings I have lost by not using my gifts in the name of Jesus.

4.   Lord Jesus; multiply my talents in the name of Jesus.

5.   For the Power in the name of Jesus; I shall fulfil purpose; I shall fulfil Destiny in the name of Jesus.
