4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” – John 10:27
MOTIVATIONAL
QUOTE:
If
you do all the talking when you pray, how will you hear when God
responds to your situation?
PRAISE WORSHIP: Take a worship song as led by the Holy Spirit.
PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:
I
command your spiritual ears to open now to hear God’s voice, in the
name of Jesus.
THE MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we began to examine what the voice of God is. We shall delve more into the same issue today. The voice of God is powerful; it is comforting and convincing. The voice of God is inviting and assuring. As a child of God, it will do you immense good to hear His voice regularly in order to do His will without failing or falling. You need to be still and not too busy. That is when your spiritual ears will be opened to hear the voice of God.

There are many voices speaking at a time, aside the voice of God. There is the voice of the world around you; the voice of your needs and personal issues, and the voice of the devil. These voices contend with the voice of God and end up putting such persons into confusion and inner conflicts. At such times, the victims will lack the wisdom to take the right decisions, all because these other voices are seeking to be louder than the voice of God. The “still small voice” of the Almighty will be heard when you take time to be alone with Him. Elijah was alone in 1 Kings 19 when God spoke to him.

Moses was on the mountain all by himself when he received the laws and commandments that guided the Israelites throughout their wilderness experience. God spoke to Moses mouth to mouth and not in dark speeches. God will not contend with other voices within you. He is calling you to “stillness”. God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. Only be still before Him in humility and quietness of your heart, He will guide and protect you. God speaks in different ways to His children. He could speak to you through your dreams, visions and circumstances around you. God can speak through His prophets, angels, the audible voice even His Word.

from God on regular basis and obeying His command is the secret of
success in life. Have you been able to consistently hear the voice
of God? What are those things in your life that have served as a
stumbling block? Are you His sheep? Remember only can hear Him.
Beloved, amend your ways today so that Cod can speak to your inner
man.
