Topic: THE TONGUES OF MYSTERIES.

Text: 1 Corinthians 14:2; Acts 2:1-4


Tonight, listen very very carefully. If you are living in a crazy world, you need to be crazy, in order to survive. If you are living in a strange world, you need to have a bit of strangeness to survive. If you are living in a mysterious world, you need to be mysterious in order to have victory and right now beloveth, I can tell you that there are thousands of mysterious problems that are troubling people; problems that cannot be explained, problems that are baffling.

A mystery is something:
- Baffling.

- Concealed.

- That you cannot explain.

- Strange.

- You cannot penetrate.

You cannot expect to live in a mysterious world and want to survive without being mysterious yourself. It is not possible. A little bit of mystery is necessary, and the Lord has not left us in darkness at all. Tonight is a very serious night here. Better get yourself prepared. The Holy Spirit does not speak in tongues; it is you who will speak in tongues. He will fill you, and you will speak. If anyone is teaching you that something will just fall on you and you will begin to speak uncontrollably, it is a lie. The apostles were the ones speaking, the Holy Ghost just gave them utterance.

The power of the tongue is a very serious matter. That tongue can control the whole of a man's life. That tongue can sell off your whole glory and when that tongue is not put under control of the Holy Ghost, it destroys a glory forever.

>>> May your glory not be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

Those men in those days gathered together and they were building the tower of Babel and God had to come down to see what they were doing. And He said "look at what these people are doing. How do we stop them?" He confused their tongues. He scattered it. One could say "give me spade" and get a slap in return and confusion ensued. Immediately their tongues got scattered, their project got scattered too. All God did was touch the tongue. The tongue has a scattering power. That is why I tell you here that your tongue is the pilot of your aircraft.

Your tongue is the:
- Compass of your life.

- Control room of your life.

- Engine room of your life.

- Driver of your car.

- Your tongue is your glory.

In the book of Psalms, you see "tongue" used interchangeably with "glory" (Psalm 57:8, 16:9, 30:12, 108:1). Therefore, your tongue needs to be possessed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Listen carefully beloveth. When we pray in tongues, demons are confused. They do not understand what you are saying.

That is why it is not good to be saying you have not recovered your glory when you have not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues; because if you say you want to recover your glory and the power of God is not in your life, one day a strong man may come in the dream and say "hand it back to me" and because you have no power, you are just going to church, you are not praying in tongues, or you are praying in the copycat kind of tongues, the enemy steals from you.

When we pray in tongues, demons are confused. And sometimes too, emergencies storm up. You want to pray, but you do not know what to pray. You do not know what to say. At that moment, when you begin to pray in tongues, things happen. When situations get to a level in the scriptures, heavenly languages come up. There was a time God was fed up with the son of Nebuchadnezzar. God had to write on the Palace wall for him to see: Mene, Tekel, Upharsin. It was not a Hebrew language, because the Hebrews were there and they did not know the meaning. It was also not written in Greek because the Greeks were there and they also did not know the meaning.

It was not a Syrian language; they did not understand it. It was a language from heaven. It was until they called Daniel, the man who could dissolve mysteries, before they got the meaning. He said "Mene: God has numbered your kingdom, done the arithmetic and finished it". "Tekel; you have been weighed in the balances, and are found wanting." Then "Peres: your kingdom has been taken from you and given to another, and you yourself will be killed". That language was from heaven. When things get to a level, languages different from the ones that are known will come up.

Just like when Jesus looked at that girl and said to her "talitha cumi". Also, on the cross, He said "Eli, eli, lama sabachtani?" So, there are mysteries in the scriptures. You need to be able to speak mysteries if you want to recover your glory fully. Satan understands all languages. The only language he does not understand is speaking in tongues. When you do not speak in tongues, you are not speaking mysteries and you need mysteries to tackle mysteries.

So, speaking in tongues is speaking mysteries. The scripture says "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries."

>>> May the Lord anoint your tongue tonight to speak mysteries, in the name of Jesus.

Speaking in tongues is like speaking parables. We speak in tongues to communicate mysteries because tongue speaking is a language of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says "for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." So that tongue helps our infirmities in our prayers. Listen beloveth, it is not everything you can say with human language. Sometimes you are so overwhelmed that you cannot find human language to express yourself in.

At that level, you go into speaking mysteries.

Speaking in tongues:
- Lifts burdens away.

- Saturates the environment. This is a very serious matter.

- Clears the cloud over your head. As you go about your daily duties, people use their heads and bodies to collect all kinds of dust from everywhere.

And I challenge you: If you can decide that everyday you want to pray in tongues for one hour, by the time you do it for one month, your life would have changed. It is not prayer, it is a fact. It is important that I teach you this because so many glories are already embalmed underneath the earth. So many glories will not listen to this human language. It is when you begin to talk mysteries that things begin to happen.

>>> May you possess a tongue of mysteries here tonight, in the name of Jesus.

When you speak in tongues:
- It builds you up. All the great men in the faith have employed this method. Paul said "I thank my God that I speak in tongues more than you all". He was very grateful that he could do it. Listen: anything that the Bible says is good for the apostles is good for us too. In fact, the sign of Christianity is not the cross, it is the cloven tongues of fire of the Holy Ghost. It is a sign.

- It opens scriptures to you using the mysterious power of God.

- You have a weapon to counteract the mysterious forces of darkness.

>>> May all satanic animals dispatched against you, go back to the senders, in the name of Jesus.

So, to be robbed of that gift is to be robbed of mysteries. The Bible says speaking in tongues edifies, it charges your battery. It is the charger of the spirit man. Sometimes as a Christian you run down, by virtue of usage or the things surrounding you. So, when your spirit man is down, you have to speak in tongues to recharge yourself.

- Is a medium of sprouting stabilisation. Do not get yourself confused. Try and understand this very well. There is a difference between the language of tongues and the gift of tongues. The language of tongues is for all believers. The gift of tongues is for people who want it. That is, somebody can speak diverse tongues, it is a gift. But the other one is for all Christians. So, the language of tongues is general class language and the gift of tongues is a special class language.

- Dissolves discouragement. The Bible says "every tongue that rises against you in judgment, thou shalt condemn". The tongues of the wicked men are soaked in incantations, concoctions but you are not soaking yourself in divine concoctions. When they use that tongue to rise against you, you need your own tongue to counter it. If you keep quiet, the enemy will disgrace you, because a closed mouth is a closed destiny. The tongue of the wicked is soaked in charms, magic, concoctions, so you need to soak your tongue in the Holy Ghost. The stronger you speak in tongues, the stronger you are.

Speaking in tongues:
- Is an anti-contaminant, a spiritual detergent from the dust of life.

- Connects the heavenlies to your life and takes your battles to the heavenlies.

- Is praying high voltage prayers. Without that activity, complete victory is impossible; because many of us are battling now with what our grandfathers have done, and you do not know what mysteries they entered into ;and now you want to counter that mystery. The ordinary tongue will not do it.

PRAYER POINTS


1. Every local coven, hear the word of the Lord: I am not your candidate; catch fire! in the name of Jesus.

[After Ministration Prayers]

If you have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, you open your glory and begin to speak mysteries. If you have not received, open your mouth now and begin to speak. Just speak, the Holy Ghost will take control of what is coming out of your mouth.

1. Holy Ghost fire, recover my glory, in the name of Jesus.

2. Satanic traffic working against my breakthroughs, die in the name of Jesus.

3. Thou power of the night assigned against my life, attack yourself, in the name of Jesus.

4. My Father, my Father, my Father, as you parted the Red Sea, separate affliction from my life, in the name of Jesus.

5. Powers defiling my body, die, in the name of Jesus.

6. [Grab your head with your two hands]
Every bewitchment fashioned against my head, die, in the name of Jesus.

7. [Keep your hands on your head]
Any evil load placed on my head in the sleep, backfire, in the name of Jesus.

8. Any power staying awake to harm me, you are a liar, die, in the name of Jesus.

9. My blessings, taken to the grave by any wicked relative, I recover you by fire, in the name of Jesus.
