LIVING WATER DAILY DEVOTIONAL
DIVINE WISDOM
24TH , JUNE 2022
EXTRA READING FOR TODAY: Psalms 69-73
READ: Proverbs 30:24-28
24 Four things on earth are small, but they
are exceedingly wise:
25 the ants are a people not strong, yet they
provide their food in the summer;
26 the rock badgers are a people not mighty,
yet they make their homes in the cliffs;
27 the locusts have no king, yet all of them
march in rank;
28 the lizard you can take in your hands, yet
it is in kings' palaces.

MEMORISE: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of
wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. - Proverbs 9:10
EXPOSITION
The Lord our God succeeds in creation, administration,
management and in all you can even think of. In like manner, He desires that we
succeed too. He created us to be wise, and never to be liability to our
generation and ourselves. However, knowing and fearing the Lord is the key to
receiving the grace to possess divine wisdom and maximise it.
Ants are small
creatures, very weak, but very industrious in gathering and saving food. They
have a strange sagacity (institution) to do it in the summer-the proper time.
It is better to learn from these creatures (Prov.6v6). When the ravening lion
lack, and suffer hunger, the laborious ants have plenty, lacking no provision.

Mainly looking at the conies, they are weak
creatures, and very timorous, yet they have so much wisdom as to make their
houses in the rocks, where they are well guarded, and their feebleness makes
them take shelter in those natural fastnesses and fortifications.

If we keep a
close look at the locusts, we will discover that they are very little also, and
have no king, as the bees have, but they go forth-all of them by bands, like an
army in battle array and, observing such good order among themselves, it is not
convenient for them that they have no king. They are called God's great army
(Joel 2v25) because, when He pleases, musters, marshals them, wages war and use
them as instruments, as He did upon Egypt.
The manifestation
of divine wisdom also features in animals, they are so endowed with divine
wisdom to do mighty things, how much more men that are created in God's image.
The key to divine wisdom for human never changes; know the Lord, walk with Him,
work for Him, and fear Him. Remember, the fear of God is the beginning of
Wisdom Pro.9v10.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Lord Jesus, make me wise through Your Word,
in Jesus name.
2. Father, open my eyes to those things that
will make life better for me and cause me to fulfil Your good purpose for me.
3. O Lord, grant our children the right wisdom
to live their lives without falling into the traps of the evil ones.
DO HAVE A BLESSED DAY
